Took Zeke to the vet today. His eye allergies are not clearing up. So it is back to trying to get eye drops in eyes and not all over. One of the few things he does not want anyone to do is drops in his eyes. The big lug. He dropped a few pounds. 136 and a bit now.
Took him to Beach Basket Yarns as he likes to see people. I keep forgetting how big he is. I still think of him on the top of large. But then he is 31 inches at the shoulders. He is still the "baby boy".
Was a beautiful day. The sun was out and it has not been to cold.

Day
What a wonderful day! It was so beautiful out. Sun came out to see what the rain had done. Nice washed air and sky.
Went into Ferndale today and finally got my hair cut. It was so very long and was having more trouble than normal seeing through my "bangs".
Had to tink and tink. I row or two more and maybe at my problem, I hope. Then can go forward again. The cables in the Irish Hiking Scarf are fun. My first cable. And of course there are more on the needles.
Tomorrow plan to stay home and get more boxes unpacked. Took days off from that job. Cleaned, played more with the dogs, cats and knitted.
Will be looking very serously for a place to take the dogs out to. They will learn to walk on their leashes together. We need to get away from the house.
My blood sugar was high so took a pill and then this afternoon took it again and it was down to a decent level. Must be more careful and not ignore this. Ugh.

Good Things
Only one problem with our new house. Have not found a place to walk the dogs. Will keep looking around for a safe place. One of the post office people said to look at the parks. So that will be an adventure very soon. It is raining so hope everyone is inside when I go to scout out the areas.
Got the living, dinning rooms mopped and stuff of of surfaces that did not belong. The kitchen is all tidy up again. Feels good.
It rained today and I think is suppose to the rest of the week. Love the smell of the air during the rain and then when it stops. Yummy.
I have to look up a bakery some place in Maple Falls. Elenore said she had seen one advertized and thinks it may be the one she saw many years ago. Will be fun to see and then get her something.

Done!
Yesterday was the last load of stuff. It is a wonderful feeling that nothing is left to bring. Have been putting things away.
Of course, Wish I had gotten rid of a lot more than I did.
It has been a wonderful day. Not real cold, the light rain held off 'till late afternoon. Dogs are learning to play in the yard.
I am adjusting also.

One more
One more trip and the move will finally be over.
I am so sick of boxes, bags being lifted packed and then at the other end moved out of vehicle and into house.
Then the fun of putting things away.
I thought that the pots and pans were lost. They were at the other place. Not packed as yet. Silly me.
It will be nice to have everything here and then all put away.
The dogs are doing OK now. The cats are fine, those stinkers now want to go out. Fat chance.
Ida is limping badly this evenning. Might be from the cold and runing around outside. Zeke is sore also. Not as badly.
Umm, that dog Zeke stole a tuna sandwich off the counter. Tuna breath. I could not do anything as was not in the room. I made myself another. Rotten dog.

Not quiet
Almost but not quiet done with moving. This weekend is IT! The shop needs to be gone through to be sure nothing is left behind. A few things in the house and garage. Just seems like a lot but really isn't.
I have not found pots as yet and other kitchen things. Nor the other bed sheets. A few other items have gone missing. They will be found. Or replaced.
Need to get the locks on the gates so the dogs can go wander about. They are going stir crazy with no walks or outside time. I know, need to find a place to take them for nice longish walks. Dang people who let their dogs roam.
Went to one of my favorite places today. The Yarn shop (Beach Basket Yarns). So nice to be surrounded by colors and talk with friends. Did not like the drive home much. Was dark enough for headlights and going up the hill with turns and such was not fun with oncoming headlights. But made it happy and safe.

Putting in order
Between putting things away, I managed to finish my wash cloth. Have started to again on the Irish Hiking scarf.
Have been frustrated and almost angry. Whe? All the boxes all over the living room and the paper strewn around. Ick. So, I put the boxes in a room and have been going through them one at a time. Much more relaxing.
It is beautiful today. Sun is out and the air crisp. Love it.
Oh, took the dogs back to the old house for a long walk. They had to get out and move. So we did. The gates should be fixed before this weekend.
